Another piece done to the DepthCore's pack: A Series Of Untitled Dreams [link]
I have a usual dream where I feel my body burning, in front of a nuclear explosion. Maybe it's because I'm fascinated by atomic energy and those scary bombs...
I hope this can be kept in the dream's world.
Again Poser and Photoshop...
Thank you all for the support you have given to my recent works..
This is very realistic. The extreme temperatures produced by a fission reaction or an atomic blast would indeed produce blue-white flames, due to their intense heat (the hottest stars in the universe are also blue-white). If you were standing right at the point where the fission reaction occurred, it would be exactly like standing at the surface of the sun. The body would simply evaporate.
Fantastic work, CrisVector! This is based on a dream, you say?
It would be very fast to burn a person with sheer energy, but I don't think it would be blue-white BECAUSE of the heat. Maybe because of the composition of carbon-based life forms, because the color is mostly related to the composition of the material, as well as the thoroughness of combustion. Heat can make the gas molecules glow like plasma, having some effect on blue coloration, but I have a feeling a burning person would just be your standard (albeit intensely bright) yellow fire. Not sure, and I hope there's never an instance in this world where we can see first hand what it would be like.
nice! - would love to see it w/out the watermark could be featured for a day at Occupy Nuclear Daily #OccupyNuclear - [link] or archive at WHATS UP nuclear blog [link] w/credit of course
